what I wore in 2010: Mr. Darcy’s proposal

Mr. Darcy’s proposal, from Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice,” on a t-shirt.

I feel compelled to tell you that my hair is looking far better in person today than it was in any of the 11,000 photos I took. Just so you know.

September 1
tee: Mr. Darcy Proposal shirt, Etsy
skirt: GAP (also available in navy blue)
espadrilles: Target

Excellent t-shirt! I just ordered one - perhaps it will encourage my boyfriend who is so aptly named - Darcy:)

I’m adore this shirt and even bought one after you posted a pic of yours. Sadly it doesn’t fit me right. It’s too big in the shoulders. I can’t part with it so I’m thinking I might make a purse with it or a halter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNFr6xyODU0&p=0B60FAE73780A6DE&playnext=1&index=32

I want to get that shirt but I have this weird thing about not wearing shirts with writing anymore-too many team shirts in high-school and sorority shirts in college? I think I’m going to order the towels instead b/c Darcy’s proposal? Sigh.

Your hair is super-cute. I keep seeing how cute yours looks and it makes me really, rilly, REALLY want to cut mine!

Adorable! I’m ordering that shirt for a friend’s b-day who LOVES Pride & Prejudice.

It seems that you’re integrating your new Gap purchases quite well into your daily wardrobe. Have you worn them all yet?

Also, care to give any tips on closet clean out - how do you part with those “I love this but never wear this” items? Or “I might need this long black skirt with the slit up to the thigh skirt sometime” but again, never wear…

SERIOUSLY? That shirt does not have one of the most romantic proposal’s of all time written across it, does it?

Off to buy it, like yesterday.

LOVE those shoes! Your pictures make me wish I had done your challenge instead of 15:30.

Your hair looks great - I have that shirt and ADORE it - I’m looking forward to cooler temps so I can wear mine, too!
