Me: Really? Why?
Henry: I don’t know, it’s just … It’s like a camping jacket, but with dressed up pants.
Me: Exactly.
Henry: I don’t think it’s working.
Me: Thanks, son.

Love it. Fashion critiques from the peanut gallery! Another reason I am thankful I have girls, I get lots of love on my outfits-Mommy, I love your necklace, is that a new skirt? Oh, those are my favorite shoes you have-we need to get me a pair. It definitely puffs me up to tackle my day.

A friend of mine told me yesterday that her 5 y.o. daughter’s favorite show is What Not To Wear. My friend was getting ready yesterday and had the cutest outfit on (I saw her later for lunch) and her daughter eyeballed her and said, “Um, mom. I don’t know about those jeans. They make you look a little … hippy.”
As in big hips. Not 70s. My friend felt a little shaken up!
