<description>It's all about that "teddy-bear brush." I don't know if they still call it that, but they did when it first came out. My sister is currently trying a MAC mascara (can't recall the name of it, but it has a similar brush, and when I tried her on, to me, it's exactly the same as the Lash Out, but the brush is shorter and fatter, with varied-length bristles, depending how you turn the applicator. Meh.

For soft, smudgy, eyeliner, I'm all about the self-sharpening pencils. But. Lemme tell you my recent discovery, which is the new L'Oreal (coincidence, because prior to this, the Lash Out was my only L'Oreal product) "Paris HIP" (High-Intensity-Pigment) eye colors. WOW. These would be for when you want to make a STATEMENT. Or, say, turn a few tricks before Christmas shopping. I bought HIP in a deep sable, and this stuff means business. Just don't make a mistake, because it's NOT coming off without a fight. I ditched the way-to-wide applicator brush almost immediately, for a small, stiff, fine-pointed one, and now I adore the stuff. It's more malleable than liquid liner, but more THERE than powder or soft pencil. It does NOT blend. At all.

Now I can actually change my eye look from day to evening! Wow! ( I also still dream of being one of those women who can apply false eyelashes. )

Now, if someone could recommend a blush with NO pink or red or burgundy in it, that, at the same time, is also not just potting-soil brown, that would be great. Carole Jackson used to make one called "warm honey" that was perfect for me, but it is no more. :-(</description>
