Tomorrow is November 1, which means not only are your Christmas shopping days numbered, but it’s the first day of NoBloShoeMo.
You know, NoBloShoeMo? Thirty Days of Shoes? Dude. Where have you BEEN?
On the docket for November and NaBloPoMo (which I will totally be doing, because what else do I have to do all day except write about my life for the entertainment of the Internet): the Great Mascara Road Test, my life as a Strict Mom, TWO Thanksgiving road trips, and the ongoing saga of our new furniture (which isn’t a “saga” at all, really, but I’m all about the draaamaaah today). All of this, lovingly illustrated with photos of my SHOES! Or sometimes JUST photos of my shoes, depending on the day. Plus a whooooole lotta links to all the OTHER places where I am already CONTRACTUALLY OBLIGATED to post every damn day.
And shoes! Did I already say that? Oh. Well.
Possibly of interest: the origins of NoBloShoeMo, and look! I was shopping for mascara last year at this time, too! I also feel compelled to say that without Chris there would be no Month of Shoes, because she’s the one who said “WE NEED A FLICKR POOL!” which was like a gigantic dare and if you’re ever going to dare me to do something that involves shoes I am RIGHT THERE. Also wine. And shoes and wine together? Oh baby. I am SO in.
Welcome to November. It’s going to be fun.

Yippee!
I am thinking about wearing heels. Probably just once, and very likely just long enough to take a picture. But it’s been at least two years and I think it is time.
Then again I might do 30 Days of Simples again.

My shoes are too hideous to share. I still have shoes I had in high school… and that was in 1991!! I hate to admit all my shoes are hand me downs from my mom. What can I say? I hate shoe shopping…
