MOL

Her: So Dave is studying for his commercial real estate license. You should see his book. It’s huge. And full of random terms. Last night I said to him, Hey, I have a question for you.

Me: What’s MOL?

Her: YES!!!

Me: I have always wondered what that means.

Her: Do you really not know???

Me: No! What is it?

Her: More or less.

Me: Shut up.

Her: I will not.

Me: More or less? Seriously?

Her: Yes! You know, four acres … more or less.

Me: Huh. I would have assumed that those measurements were more accurate than just more or less.

Her: Apparently not. Did you really not know that?

Me: I really did not. And I have wondered about that for years.

Her: Well, I’m glad I’m not the only jackass who didn’t know that.

Me: Oh no. Totally did not know that.

Her: I asked Dave if he learned that from his fancy book, and he said, Nope, just common sense.

Me: Which we clearly lack.

Her: Clearly.

Me: I’m going to start working that into conversation. You know, I’m looking forward to your event! MOL. Or, Today was a good day. MOL. OR! I’m really enjoying spending time with these kids. MOL.

Her: Hahahaha …

kids

We love these children. MOL.

OMG, hilarious. And I, too, am going to start incorporating that into conversation.

Not only did I not know the meaning, but I don’t think I had ever noticed MOL, like, existing. I do that with words I don’t know, though — if I don’t understand it, I just ignore it. Brilliant strategy, I know.

hehe-too funny!

The kitchen in the pic is gorgeous!
(and the kids are cute, too, of course ;)

I puzzled over ATO too.

Very funny. You have enlightened me too, thanks.
