As we were heading out the door this morning, I said to Henry, ‘Let me take your picture. Say something happy.’
He thought for a second and then said, ‘HOORAY! IT’S MY FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!’
And I swear to you that this was the resulting picture:
God I love that kid so much.

You’re on to me, Misfit–after all, SOMEONE has to pay that tuition!
And Heather, you made me laugh–Henry’s teacher is HUGE on cutting things out (to prepare the kids to learn to write) so it is ENTIRELY possible that he will cut SOMETHING this year. Last year he cut his own hair. And we never noticed! Ha ha ha. Because we’re terrible parents. Or he has a terrible hair cut.

That’s a sweet picture. We have a tradition of taking pictures the first day of class for a year. Not that I ever actually DO anything with those pictures, but I always take them.

It’s been bugging me since I saw this post earlier today, but I just figured out who he reminds me of in this pic- Jonathon Lipnicki (Jerry Maguire, Stuart Little). Henry’s cuter, though.
