Pea coat is here! Woo! Fall weather is also here, but it’s more lightweight trench coat than Thinsulate lined pea coat weather. But that’s coming, I’m sure.

For the fleece, the lighterweight one would be great in the moss green or spice brown! I’m just loving the “green-green” clothing out these days (not to be confused with lime-green or olive-green or blue-green, etc.).

The Sherpa looks toasty, but since it never hits zero here, I’ll choose the ThermaCheck. It will keep me plenty warm even in my cool (some say cold) house this winter. In a dark cobalt blue please. Do we need to specify size? If so, a large (and probably tall) would suit me, so please pick me.

Oooooh….. the second one, and the green is gorgeous! I’m in SoCal, and nobody believes that it gets cold enough for warm clothes here, but it does. Yet it’s hard to justify really wam clothes that you’ll only wear for a couple of months a year, or at night.

Oh my. I have to say the Thermacheck in Spice Brown Multi Argile. Which, I’ll grant you, is BOLD. But this is Alaska. We already have six. solid. inches of snow. And I wear a LOT of fleece. A lot more fleece, actually than I would really like to and what I DIG about the Argile is that it is very UN-Fleece-like. Sweet! Please and thank you!

ThermaCheck® 100 Half-zip Pullover in MOSS GREEN!

Susan! Did you KNOW that I have been in dire need of a new fleece pullover for my outdoor winter runs up here in Minnesota? Seriously, I do run outside all winter long. And the fleece I’ve been using during the winters is an REI size medium that was a gift to me in 1994. 1994, Susan. Do you remember 1994? And how oversized everything was back then? My current fleece is so gigantic on me that I actually have to roll the sleeves, and my preschooler erupts into peals of laughter when she sees me in it. And yet, I have not been able to bring myself to replace it because it has worn like iron and is still just fine, functionally. Just NOT AT ALL FLATTERING OR NORMAL-LOOKING.

All of this is my way of saying, ThermaCheck 100 in Azure.

Love the peacoat. If I didn’t live in Florida, I’d seriously consider tracking one down.

Shamelessly going for the pity vote. We’re relocating. From sunny, 80 degree Virginia where ‘fall’ is still in the future. To CONNECTICUT. In December. I don’t even have my closed-toed shoes out yet, but must now pack up whole house and buy entirely winter-friendly wardrobe all in 6 weeks. Yikes.

Color, OMG…how to choose. The Spice Brown Argyle is surprisingly alluring. I also love the Berry and Moss Green, but the Pewter Gray is probably the best choice for matching other things.

What I HAVE is a fleece lined suede jacket that was too small when I bought it last year, but I wanted it anyway. Smart. This year? Not even a shot at buttoning it.
