entirely true, but exaggerated for comic effect
hard to be you and me

I’m sitting in a San Francisco hotel room, drinking wine with HeatherB, who is telling a complicated story about her life.

Me: Aw honey, it is HARD to be Heather, isn’t it?

Heather: YES IT IS. I don’t know HOW people do it.

Chris IMs me early early this morning, as I am simultaneously struggling to publish a post and peel Charlie off my arm.

Chris: I got up at 4:00 am to work. I wanted to see what it feels like to be Susan Wagner.

Me: Well?

Chris: It feels tired.

Me: Exactly.

Text message from Chris: Soooo tired. I don’t know how people can be Susan Wagner.

Text message back: I don’t know HOW people do it.

LOL@ it being tough to be Susan Wagner. You know, famous and rich… :) I do agree about being tired getting up that early!

Too funny!

It’s funny (and maybe not, actually) that all the BlogHer writers that I enjoy reading seem to be friends with each other.

LOLZ! Just one of the mysteries of the universe.

Ha! My new motto.

I forgot you got up that early everyday. Man, the things I could get done!

and THAT is why i love all three of you ;)

We’ll know that it’s all gotten too hard if you start talking about yourself in the third person.

‘Susan is tired today’
‘Susan needs a martini’
‘Susan doesn’t want to be a famous blogger anymore’

Such is the life of the rich and famous. I can’t keep up as evidenced by falling asleep on my front porch yesterday afternoon.
