1. Baseball sleeves, little boy size, in black and orange (we couldn’t choose a school with stylish colors, we had to choose the school with good academics — what were we thinking???).
2. Batting helmets, to prevent any (more) brain damage.
3. Socks that come up to their knees and make them look like extras in a production of Oliver Twist.
4. New baseball cleats! That leave black marks on the white kitchen tile! Woo!
5. Kids who wear their baseball uniforms around all day, just because they can.
So clearly baseball season is starting here; fortunately I have Chris to rely on for moral support. Like tonight, when I texted her to say, “Two kids, two practices, two different fields. I am living your life.”
And she came back with, “Haha, double that.”
I cannot win. But I can drive less. I guess.

Our school colors are black and orange, too. We weren’t thrilled. But, a good tip, after Halloween you can stock up on all sorts of black and orange clearance for Homecoming things, streamers, plates and napkins for when you have to host team dinners, little crap gifts for when your child ends up team captain and all that entails, etc.
Just a thought.

I love number five. I can’t remember childhood ever being like this, but I know it must have been. How cool! =)

Oh they are all great, but #5 is perfection. I love love love running around town with my boys in their uniforms b/c they are so freakin’ proud and that’s so freakin’ cute.
I just did an entry about little league too (yours is better). Oh and every other year, my boys are on the same team b/c they are only a year and a half apart and hoorah! this is one of those years. less driving!!
