My favorite holiday craft is making Christmas cards.

I recently entered the world of rubber stamping. I can make some awesome Christmas cards.

My favorite (only) holiday craft is baking cookies. Does that count as a craft?

My favorite holiday craft is mixing the perfect hot chocolate. Fresh whipped cream is a must.

I’m still doing fall crafts. I am such an overachiever this year. I’m calling it nesting, though, so I don’t have to feel weird about it. I can’t HELP it, there is a BABY coming and therefore I NEED a Thanksgiving banner and table runner. Or something. So, that totally doesn’t answer your question. I can’t help it, I’m pregnant!

My daughter loves anything to do with paper. She’s hard to buy for because all she wants to do is draw, cut, glue, etc with paper. This would be awesome, and I would promise not to roll my eyes when I found little pieces of it everywhere.

I love making sun catchers.

I will throw my hat in the ring for this one too. My kiddos love crafty crafts.

These give aways are fun and I love Land of Nod!

I love making our family Advent wreath. The kids all help and while it doesn’t look like it came from Martha, it is still beautiful to me.

Does latke making count? That is so labor intensive but I do like it. Would love this kit to give to our lovely neighbors up the block.

I love to knit, but my daughter is the big crafter in the family. She’d love to make cards to send to all her friends. The same friends she sees every day at school, of course.

Before kids, I would always make at least one cross-stitch picture as a Christmas gift. Maybe in a few years I can start that again!!

I don’t do them every year, but I love the homemade ornaments I’ve made in the past to tie to gifts as tags.

I’m not much of a sewer, but that darlin’ machine makes me want to learn!

I would love to give this to my crafty soon-to-be-stepdaughter! She would use every bit of it, I’m sure.

Baking cookies and any gift making I may have foolheartedly taken on making. This year I may have actually started early enough to finish everything in time.

My favorite favorite favorite holiday craft project is making handmade ornaments with our little ones!

I love making frosted sugar cookies.

I love everything about the holiday season and making new memories with my kids every year.

My favorite Holiday craft is making paper snowflakes for our windows with the kids.

Making salt dough ornaments and stringing popcorn and cranberries for the tree!

When I was a kid one of my favorite holiday crafts was making paper chains out of our old Christmas cards - they were always so festive looking. Now, it might be making fabric gift bags for Christmas presents - no more struggling to wrap weird shaped gifts!

Making Christmas cookies with my kids…not a paper craft, but I still consider it crafty!

We love decorating cards to send to friends and family.

I would have to say my favorite holiday craft is making those candy cane reindeer… I do those EVERY year and nearly spend a fortune in just candy canes!

My favorite craft to do with the kids is to string popcorn, cranberries and fruit loops to make garland for their Christmas trees.

Is baking a craft? I love to do some holiday baking!

I like making those clothespin reindeer for the tree.

Wrapping gifts. Can I count that as my craft? I am really really good at it. I think.

As an adult, I have to say baking cookies is my favorite Christmas craft. I do have fond memories from childhood of making ornaments though. Now that I have a child, I think I need to bring that back!

Favorite Holiday Craft…decorating sugar cookies! Bake and freeze them now…pull out later when you have drop in guests or a playdate or want to do something while someone is wrapping/watching football etc. Also my go-to impromptu gift when I am unexpectedly gifted by someone and no time to shop…keep a stack of those melamine holiday plates and throw on some beautifully decorated (personalized if you have time) cookies and voila! Gift!

Crafty…hmmmm well, I bake & supervise the kids assembly of those gingerbread house kits. Good?

I paint pre-made wooden and ceramic ornaments, occasionally. My daughter would love the craft kit, though, she’s much more creative than I am.

My favorite ‘craft’ is decorating. My house, my tree, my dogs, my kid and my husband (if he’ll stand still long enough!). Anything that doesn’t move gets showered in red, green, white and blue. The tree is probably my favorite part of all. Love all the memories in each of the ornaments.

paper chains! we make them now, and then count down to Christmas with them. The excitement grows as the chain shrinks!!

Making Hardanger (a Norwegian stitching technique) for family and friends as gifts. Haven’t had time to do it lately, but it’s my favorite.

Oh please I would like the craft kit. Because I bought one the other day and it turns out to be really crap.

I loved making paper chains as a kid & cannot wait to start doing so with my boy! I think he’s old enough now :) And also, loved making snowflakes!

My favorite holiday craft is making Salt dough tree ornaments, then painting them. This was something I did with my Mom and Dad when I was younger that I now do with my children

My favorite holiday craft is a stocking advent calendar that I’ve been making for three years now and is nowhere near completion!

They way I get crafty at the holidays is by pretending that the house is always that clean. But! My kids are all about the glitter, glue and all assorted stickies.

My favorite craft is cutting out paper snowflakes. Plain white paper and scissors–what could be easier?

I love making molded chocolate items for my friends and family. This year though I’m making peppermint hot chocolate bags for everyone. I’m also a big fan of making snowflakes out of coffee filters! Easy and pretty! :)

Put me down for baking cookies. But my daughter loves making crafts of all kinds.

Making all sorts of cookies and treats to put together on plates for the neighbors.

Making the kids matching pjs - they are 4, 2, and 6 mos. so they still like it:)

Making salt dough ornaments to be painted and glittered and sequined until they are colorful and shiny!

And oldie but goodie, sticking cloves into oranges or clementines and letting them dry. They smell fantastic…

decorating the tree!!!

Baking? Is that a craft? Who has time for crafts during the holidays!?!

Does making sugar cookies count as a craft? Ok, I do like decorating ornaments!

Every year for Thanksgiving, I help my children make construction paper turkeys, with hand cut-outs for the feathers and foot cut-outs for the body. Then we write what they are most thankful for on the “feathers.” We all look forward to this every year; especially me, as I get to learn what it is they are thankful for.

Making cookies! Is that a craft?

I made Christmas stockings for my family out of felt.

Gingerbread houses, each year we have a Sunday afternoon where there is no limit to ones imagination. I love to see how creative the kids get year after year!

Holiday baking! Every year we make homemade almond roca to pass out to friends and neighbors. YUM!

My favorite craft has to be shopping. I do it year round, but at least at Christmas I do it with a purpose. And the way I do it definitely makes it a craft!

I love to make gingerbread houses with my kids. Of course, I am talking about the “pre-fab” ones since I could never actually bake the houses myself!

Cookies. Definitely the cookies.

making popcorn balls…so fun!!

The six of us make a handprint Christmas tree on poster board. I have all of the previous years posters tucked away and re-discover them throughout the year. *Sigh* The four sets of smaller hands are getting way to big these days…

My favorite holiday craft is the holiday cooking. The scents and flavors - mmmm.

Paper chains for the Christmas tree!

We make ordaments at thanksgiving after eating. No matter how corny looking they turn out, it is always fun.

My fiance and his twin brother make fantastic cranberry vodka every Christmas. I enjoy supervising this.

(This would still be a perfect gift for my best friend’s daughter. She used to call art projects “ar-jects” which is the cutest thing in the world. I would give this to her and say, “Payton, would you like to do an ar-ject with Auntie Rhi?”

making christmas trees out of the reader’s digest. and cookies with the boys! cookies are always good!

Oh that is so cute. My favorite craft at christmas is baking. I like to make cookies that my husband and I both remember as kids.

I’m not crafty at all, but we have a great family tradition of baking sugar cookies at Christmastime. It’s a generations-old family recipe, and I’m really excited to pass it on to my daughter.

My favorite holiday craft is making ornaments with my boys. My kids can make anything into an ornament for their tree.

My favorite holiday craft is sticking all the holiday cards we get into the little wire card-holding thingy shaped like a wreath.

I love this! I don’t (can’t) sew, so this would be perfect!

I like making cookies!! lots & lots of cookies… mmmmmm

Paint pens and wooden ornaments! We’ve been making them every year since before my kids could even hold the paint pen properly. We always write the date on the back. They’re precious and it’s neat to compare their handiwork year after year.

Any thing that I can do with the children in our family: nieces, great nieces and nepew and granddaughter!

favorite holiday craft: gingerbread houses!! the kind you can demolish later via EATING! mmmmm…

I’m late, so I understand if I’m not entered, but I have to share that my favorite Christmas craft was the felt tree we made one year. I cut a tree out of felt, and each night the kids made construction paper ornaments to hang on it. By Christmas, we had a tree full of those ornaments, and they had fun doing it.
