So who won the super cute sewing machine from The Land of Nod?
Comment #55 came from Susan, who said, “I would love to give this to my oldest niece, she would love it!” Congratulations, Susan — you’re a terrific aunt.
If sewing isn’t your thing, don’t worry! The Land of Nod has also provided a nifty Christmas craft kit. No sewing required (unless you want to, in which case, have at it).
What’s in the box? Oh everything! 6 cards, 40 paper chains, 4 pre-made felt ornaments, stuffing, picture frames, ribbons, stickers, buttons, glitter glue, sequins, printed papers, floss, cardboard cone tree, crepe paper, tissue paper, crunch and stick wreath, glue stick, sticky gems, sticky dots, crinkle paper, construction paper, paper cutting stencils and plastic needle. In case you really want to sew something.
To win, leave a comment on this post; tell us what your favorite holiday craft is. Mine is mixing the perfect festive martini.
Kidding! Well, sort of.
Contest ends Tuesday night at midnight; winner will be announced on Wednesday. I promise.
Thanks to The Land of Nod for providing the prizes for this giveaway.

I’m still doing fall crafts. I am such an overachiever this year. I’m calling it nesting, though, so I don’t have to feel weird about it. I can’t HELP it, there is a BABY coming and therefore I NEED a Thanksgiving banner and table runner. Or something. So, that totally doesn’t answer your question. I can’t help it, I’m pregnant!

My daughter loves anything to do with paper. She’s hard to buy for because all she wants to do is draw, cut, glue, etc with paper. This would be awesome, and I would promise not to roll my eyes when I found little pieces of it everywhere.

Favorite Holiday Craft…decorating sugar cookies! Bake and freeze them now…pull out later when you have drop in guests or a playdate or want to do something while someone is wrapping/watching football etc. Also my go-to impromptu gift when I am unexpectedly gifted by someone and no time to shop…keep a stack of those melamine holiday plates and throw on some beautifully decorated (personalized if you have time) cookies and voila! Gift!
