Henry’s dress uniform. He looks a little bit like Angus Young, with less hair. Or maybe like Jack Black in School of Rock. But skinnier.

I am resisting the urge to make a Highway to Hell joke here. But it’s hard, believe me.

It must be Mass day! He’s cute as a bug in that outfit!

The Huz told me they stopped wearing ties at Mass this year at the GirlChild’s school. Apparently the 8th Grade Girls were doing something “inappropriate” with the ties last year that made them decide to stop. The mind boggles to think what that was.

First, it looks like that granite is very popular. We have it in our kitchen, too.

cute kid, but… those countertops! I (heart) them very much. Now that Heather B has gone, I could stay in her room and covet your kitchen. You could also tell me which denim jacket from Coldwater Creek (although, maybe I’m too young to shop there?) actually fit me properly. Oh wait, we’re not BFF… well, not yet - I’ll continue my inappropriate commenting.

Catherine, come on over. We can shop and drink wine and hang out.

The boy has learned at an early age that the shoes make the outfit.

School of Rock definitely. And the velcro is rad.

He’s been Thunderstruck!!! But he pulls it off so well. Cute AND hilarious!

He wore the tie ALL DAY, you all. I was so proud.

But the shoes. Oh god the shoes. He wants BLACK tennis shoes, but I just can’t do it.

Oh come on, get him the shoes!

He is so rockin’ adorable. I’m trying to remember where I’ve seen those shoes before . . . oh yes, I think my father-in-law was wearing them!

So cool and cute to boot! Loving the tie. It’s very Brit! Now all he needs is a cap and he’s ready to sing backup for Roger Waters’ Another Brick in the Wall.

I’ll only worry if he starts wearing dark business socks with his sneakers.

THAT would be too much … too much like my grandpa, that is.

Eeek! A tie? Please tell me that isn’t a daily thing.

Tie is for Mass only, but I’ve been reminding him that when Papa went to Catholic school it WAS a daily thing.

That may not actually be true, but it’s working, so I’m going with it. Amen.

Get him a pair of black Chuck Taylors. Oooh! With the flames on the sides.
