Chicago, here I come

Shana and I had lunch today, which of course meant a stop at Sephora because that’s what we do.  I bought a Laura Mercier eye primer and a Benefit Eye Brightener, because who needs sleep when there are cosmetics!  And coffee!

(I really need some sleep, you all.  Whoa.)

I’ve been answering emails this week about turkey, which makes my husband happy because he is somehow expecting that I will turn into a gourmet cook.  I keep telling him that if he wants great food he needs to talk to an expert.

I’ve met the experts; I’ve got nothing on them.  Want to meet one?  You can, right here.  And then when I run away to Chicago, you’ll know where to find me.

I LOVE Sephora!!! Going there is a rare treat for me which makes it even more special.

I forgot to add about yesterday’s expedition. I would rather trust make-up advice from a gay dude with a Cat in the Hat scarf than a crusty older woman with Pat Benetar spiky, over-glittered hair.

I’m sure we are BOTH in agreement over this subject.

Susan says: Yes. Hell yes. Absolutely.
