Yesterday I took Charlie to get his school tie; he wore it home in the car, clipped on over his t-shirt. It was a good look.

Today he asked, “When can I try my uniform on? And when are you going to take the tags off my tie?”

After his bath he got completely dressed, in his button down and his navy pants (which are far too big, of course, and were falling off of him) and his tie. He loves the tie; it’s almost too bad he’ll only be wearing it once a week.

He looked like a little tiny man in his shirt and tie.

At bedtime, when I snuggle with Charlie, I will ask him, “Are you big or little?” For a long time he always said, “I am LITTLE!” but lately he has started saying, “Both! Can I be both?”

Yes, of course. Always.

sometimes i think i will be an emotional mess as a parent, and if moments like this are frequent, then i might be dead on in my fear.

They remain both for a long, long time. Just ask my 12 year old. ; )

So cute! My son is just 2 1/2 but lately when I call him a big boy he says, “No Mama, I just little.”

That’s right, son, don’t grow up too fast.

Both is good. I don’t want my little guy to get big too fast!

Oh, that face is too much for my uterus to take. Why can’t they stay little and just pretend to big from time to time?

Adorable. Mine likes wearing his “handsome clothes” as well. At 5.5 D is over 4 feet tall and weighs 65 pounds. He is so very big and so very little all at the same time. They grow far too fast.

How sweet that he recognizes he can be big and little at the same time. Big and little are all relative to what you’re comparing them too

Oh my. This made me emotional. My Liam is 4 Sept 1st and he is still “little.” That photo is gorgeous. Frame that.

What a great picture! He is so cute I could gobble him up! My soon to be kindergartener can’t wait to wear his uniform. It’s so cute. School must start earlier there… we still have over a month to go. (Or maybe I am just procrastinating too much?)

Monster got a tie for his 4th birthday and he wore it over his tshirt for weeks. He looked like a little frat boy. I loved it.

This made me cry. I’m not sure why. It’s beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

My little man has a tie with Thomas the Tank Engine on it and he loooooves it. He puts it on with whatever shirt is handy with a collar. Then he adds his blue sports coat. He calls these his “handsome clothes.” He is so adorable that I just want to wrap him and eat him.

oh, that brought tears to my eyes. my 2.5yo is mostly Little but I see the Big on its way.
